The Youth Educational Forum (hereinafter abbreviated as “YEF” or “MOF”) ensures your privacy in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 and The Law on Protection of Personal Data (Official Gazette of Republic of North Macedonia No. 42/20), concerning the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and regarding the free movement of this data.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND WHY?
When you sign up to our newsletter, we only store your email address and your name. We use this data to provide you with news on youth information, youth work, youth policy and trends and innovation in the field of youth. Your email address is stored safely by a third party, MailPoet, which handles our mailings.
We only send you a YEF newsletters and press releases via MailPoet if you have explicitly given us permission to do so as you voluntarily subscribed to this mailing list, either on our present platform or the previous one. In any case you can withdraw this at any time.
We may keep an eye on which emails we send you and we can check whether you open them, but we cannot relate this information to any individual as we only hold your email address. In this way we can be certain that we are sending you relevant information.

When you apply or register for an event, the information we collect varies according to the purpose of the form you fill in. It may include:
We do not collect special categories of data, such as data related to health, ethnic origin, religious or political views, sexual orientation, etc.
Your data is stored safely by a third party, Google Inc., which handles most types of our online communication through G Suite. To protect your data, Google Inc. is fully compliant with the legal regulations in place concerning data protection.
Applications and Recruitment
YEF will keep the files of your application for one year after the advertised position has been filled. If you get selected for the position, your data will be kept as long as and to the extent that the legal regulations of North Macedonia require it.
YEF can send you emails regarding the current and future recruitment in this time frame. We send these emails in line with the consent you give us when applying and for the sake of offering you more opportunities.
Social Media
We use social media to communicate about our events, activities and YEF news in general. Sometimes we will reply to comments addressed to YEF or to private messages. You might also see non-commercial advertisements from YEF on social media, based on your interests.
WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?
We collect your data mainly to provide you our services, manage projects, organise events, send our newsletter and press releases, improve our service and, more generally, to easily communicate with each other. We also collect your data to fulfil our tasks and services, such as event and training organisation, certification and managing your membership. Finally, your data also allows us to improve and facilitate your navigation on our website.
HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?
Most of your data is communicated to us by your active intervention. Other data, such as the date and time of your access to our website, the pages you have viewed, or your location data, are collected automatically through servers consulted and “cookies” placed on our website. WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH?
YEF transfers part of the personal data from the collections of employees, salaries and contributions, consultants and external collaborators and participants in program activities. The transfer of part of the collections is carried out from the Republic of North Macedonia to the countries where the donors whose projects YEF implements are registered and operating. The transfer of part of the personal data is carried out exclusively for the purposes of fulfilling employment/consulting contracts, payment of salaries and fees for performing services and confirming the number of attendees at activities organized within the framework of projects.
The goals and method of transfer are defined in the project implementation agreements between YEF and each donor separately, the employment agreements and the agreements for the performance of services.

WHAT DO WE DO IN CASE OF SECURITY BREACH OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We process your personal data in accordance with the YEF Personal Data Security and Protection System and the Personal Data Protection Law.
Adequate security measures are taken to protect against unauthorized access, illegal disclosure or destruction of data. Access to personal data is limited exclusively to specially authorized persons, and it is given for the purpose of ensuring smooth functioning of the system.
In the event of a security incident, YEF notifies the Personal Data Protection Officer, assesses the scope and impact of the security incident, reviews the existing technical and organizational measures for security and personal data protection, as well as a plan for taking appropriate measures. measures to remedy the incident.
Within 72 hours of learning about the security incident, YEF informs the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia about: the type of security incident (number of subjects and number of collections covered by the incident), name and contact details of the officer, description of the likely consequences, description of measures to be taken for its removal and when it is likely that the violation will cause a great risk to the rights and freedoms of the subject, notification to the subject.
ACCOUNTABILITY AND INSTITUTIONAL PROTECTION
YEF implements appropriate technical and organizational measures for the protection of personal data, taking into account their nature, scope, the context in which they are processed, the purposes of processing, the privacy risk that may arise from the processing. The transparency of the operations of YEF in the context of the protection of personal data is also demonstrated through the system for exercising the rights of the subjects of personal data.
