Learn artivism

The Artivism Clubs of YEF are a place where young people can practice freedom of expression and get to know creative ways of communicating their views.

Club members, during the annual curriculum, learn about: artistic, online and civic activism; advocacy; communication with audiences and campaigns. Clubs allow members to gain knowledge and experiment with art as a means of free expression through the use of creative tools: stickers, posters, fanzines, audio and video attachments. Members get the opportunity to use their knowledge to create local events and actions on topics that are of youth and social interest.

Lectures are organized once a week, and club members have the opportunity to recommend and choose modules that will be covered in the lectures.

The goal of each club is to train the member to independently and confidently use the tools taught, but also to provide a safe, healthy and supportive environment for young people to express their views, opinions, affinities. But most importantly – to build themselves and explore.

Currently, there are several clubs in North Macedonia, in Skopje, Tearce, Strumica, Bitola, Rostuse and Krusevo. The call for new members in Artivism clubs is opened at the beginning of each school year. Lectures are organized once a week in the period from October to May. In addition to the weekly lecture, members have the opportunity to participate in various optional lectures that are of their interest, such as taking part in trainings, visits to institutions, summer academies, etc.
